“It just seemed like a great place to be”

Shelley Shearer has lived in Penrith since she was a toddler so when the time came for her to invest in her own home, she was keen to stay local.

Just to the north of this vibrant market town, Cambridge Close gives residents the chance to enjoy all Penrith’s amenities, while also enjoying easy access to transport links.

“Cambridge Drive seemed like the perfect location for me,” said Shelley. “I love this area of Penrith – I’ve known it all my life – so when Russell Armer started developing houses here I was keen to see what they were like.

Shelley made her reservation early, so was able to have some input into the fixtures and finishes.

“I was really pleased to be able to choose specific fixtures in the house as they’re the things that help you to get the look you want right from the start. I picked my kitchen units and bathroom tiles as they hadn’t been fitted when I made my reservation, so that made it feel as if it was already starting to be my home.”

Shelley was a first-time buyer, so was happy that Russell Armer advisor, Kerry Still, was able to guide her through the process to completion.

“Kerry has been fantastic all the way through, helping to make the process easier and more comfortable,” adds Shelley. “I know that if I need to know anything, I just have to ask. Kerry is not just an advisor – I consider her a friend.”

“I love the layout and the size of the rooms. I think I got great value for money – which was one of my main considerations when I started house hunting. I’m very happy with the contemporary finish and feel I can settle down here. But if I do ever come to move, I’d definitely consider a Russell Armer home next time.”
