When you use our website to browse our homes and view the information we make available, a number of cookies are used by us and by third parties to allow the website to function, to collect useful information about visitors and to help to make your user experience better.

When you submit an enquiry or comment on a potential planning application via our website

When you submit an enquiry or comment on a potential planning application via our website, we ask you for your name and email address and optionally your contact telephone number.

We use this information to respond to your query, including providing you with any requested information about our homes or the site on which we have consulted on a planning application. We may also email you several times after your enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered it to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information relating to either the sale of a property or potential planning on a site.

Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is retained on a server held in our offices in the UK.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep enquiry emails for two years after the site about which you are enquiring has been developed.

When you register your interest in one of our developments

When you register your interest in one of our developments either via our website, in person at one of our sales offices or over the telephone, we ask you for your name, contact telephone number and email address.  If the registration is by use of our website, we also collect your IP address.

We will ask for your consent to use your name, contact telephone number and email address to provide you with updates on our developments including release dates and special offers etc.

You can withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop sending you updates.

Your name and email address are shared with a third party mailing system which is based in the USA. This company has contractually committed to providing appropriate safeguards for your personal data which means it will be protected in line with the legal requirements of the European Union.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep your personal data for as long as you consent to us keeping the personal data.

When you purchase one of our properties

When you reserve a property we collect personal data from you.  The information we collect is your name, address, email address and contact number.  In certain circumstances we may also collect your credit card information.

We will use your information to keep you updated with the progress of your property, to take payment of your reservation fee and to advise solicitors, estate agents, utility companies, local authorities, NHBC and occasionally your mortgage advisor information about you and the property you are purchasing.

Your information is stored on our server based in the UK.  Your credit card details are passed to a third-party payment processor which is based in the UK and provides effective safeguards for your information.  We do not retain your credit card information.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep your information for a period of 10 years after the last property on the site has been handed over.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If we are processing your personal data for reasons of consent or to fulfil a contract, you can ask us to give you a copy of the information in a machine-readable format so that you can transfer it to another provider.

If we are processing your personal data for reasons of consent or legitimate interest, you can request that your data be erased.

You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings. In addition, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to disable tracking by Google Analytics. We will use the data provided by Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to develop the site and content around our users’ interests.
