How We Build
Homes to be
You’ll appreciate our trademark design excellence in every aspect of your new home – each feature, fitting and finish chosen and executed with care and precision.
Proud to be different
At Russell Armer, we don’t follow the herd. We aim to set some of the highest standards in the business, ensuring every home we build meets buyer expectations.
Your trusted team
Our business is powered by the local community – you’ll recognise our regional roots in the knowledge, relationships and shared ambitions of our extended workforce.
We train locally, employ locally and only work with contractors we know and trust so we can pass our confidence on to you. It’s reassuring to know that many of our staff – including members of the senior management team – have been part of the Russell Armer family since their first days of apprenticeship.
Peace of mind
Peace of mind is precious – we want you to enjoy the confidence that comes with our commitment to rigorous modern build standards, backed by the National House Building Council (NHBC).
The NHBC scheme offers a valuable 10-year warranty on all Russell Armer new-build homes. If you’d like to know more about how the scheme works in practice, give us a call.
Best in class
We’re proud of the homes we plan and build. Our biggest reward is seeing residents settled and happy in their new communities but we’re always delighted to receive accolades from our peers in the construction industry.
Russell Armer developments in Kendal, Ambleside and Kirkby Lonsdale have regularly been recognised in the annual Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Excellence Awards and UK Property Awards. Site manager Ian Hunt was selected as the worthy recipient of 2019’s prestigious Pride in the Job award by a team of NHBC judges for the sensitive renovation project Lesketh How, on Rydal Road in Ambleside.
Over the years we’ve won regional and national property awards for building excellence, often pipping big brands to the post. We’re especially pleased to have achieved a five-star rating in the Home Builders Federation annual customer satisfaction survey (CSS) for three years running – one of only a handful of companies to do so.Find out more
