“I can’t imagine finding anywhere we’d rather be”

Helen and Andrew Atherton originally moved from Lincoln to Lancaster because they couldn’t find a home that suited the family in their preferred location of Kirkby Lonsdale.

When Russell Armer’s Oakfield Park development was announced, it was quickly evident that the long-held dream of a home in this characterful market town was now a real possibility.

‘Kirkby Lonsdale always felt like the perfect location for us as a family,’ said Helen. ‘But we could never settle on a property that had all the elements we wanted. Oakfield Park changed that for us. We’ve been able to secure a beautiful, spacious home that allows us to share family time and retreat to our own spaces whenever we want. The garden, garage and parking are perfect – and the views are spectacular.’

Helen and Andrew made their reservation early, so were able to have lots of input into the fixtures and finishes.

‘We were really pleased to be able to choose specific fixtures in the house as they’re the things that help you to get the look you want right from the start. There was such a wide selection of options that I’m guessing no two houses on the development are exactly the same.

‘I can’t fault the finish – not a single corner has been cut. The team at Russell Armer is the best I’ve ever encountered; even the smallest query has been promptly resolved.’

The Athertons have quickly settled into their new home and consider their move to Kirkby Lonsdale to be a long-term one.

‘We love everything about our new home – its location, space, outlook and accessibility. Oakfield Park is a wonderfully tranquil place to live. A ten-minute walk takes you to the centre of town or out into the countryside. We’re absolutely thrilled.’
