Our helping hand

Our helping hand is offered to assist in selecting the right home for you and personalising it to suit your taste and lifestyle. We offer step-by-step guidance through the buying process. Our aim is to help you make the most of your new home and location.

About your new home

We aim to provide reliable and relevant information about your new home, the development and local amenities in a clear, easy to understand manner. We will give you guidance on the expected completion date of your new home, which will become more specific as the construction progresses.

Warranties and Consumer Code

As a registered housebuilder most of our new homes are covered by the NHBC 10 year Buildmark warranty scheme. Our Sales Advisors will provide you with details of the scheme. For the first two years after you buy your home all items are covered against defects. In the remaining years, structural defects and certain other items are covered by the warranty. Additionally, extended warranties are provided by some of our suppliers on certain items. We will comply with the requirements of the Consumer Code for Home Builders applicable at the time of your reservation.

Health & Safety

Housing developments are an active place of work and the safety of visitors and employees is a priority. We will advise you on any safety procedures that are necessary to minimise risks during your visit and after you move in. We will also supply you with information to help you use and maintain your new home in a safe manner.

Preparing for your move

Prior to your completion date we will offer you an opportunity to inspect your home and have a demonstration of its features. On the day you complete the purchase of your new home you will be welcomed with your keys and supplied with a Home Owner’s handover pack. We will have staff available to offer assistance with any queries you may have.

Environment

Russell Armer Homes are insulated to a high standard and are heated by efficient heating systems. These measures reduce your running costs, use less energy and emit less environmentally damaging gases than older homes. Our policy in building your home is also to reduce waste, recycle materials and where practical to use environmentally friendly products.

Customer care

Russell Armer’s helping hand is extended to all our customers beyond the day of moving in. We offer the reassurance of our reputation for on going customer care under the NHBC Buildmark scheme. Information on our Customer Care service will be provided in your Home Owner’s handover pack.

You can expect all Russell Armer employees to be helpful, polite and endeavour to assist you with any concerns or questions you may have. If we do not meet your expectations at anytime please let us know in order that we can improve our service in the future.
