Quiz cash presented to worthy charities
Posted on July 17, 2019 | Charity, NewsRussell Armer presented two worthy charities with cheques for £820 each following the successful Charity Quiz Night held earlier this year.
The quiz night – our 18th annual event – took place at Kendal RUFC on Thursday 28th March, when 29 local teams of building professionals including suppliers, solicitors, estate agents, engineers, architects, planners and other local businesses locked horns for the right to lift the coveted trophy.
Kudos to Kendal-based KNS Financial Planning who were the worthy winners for 2019. But the fun and games on the night itself is more than matched by the enjoyment we get from presenting the funds raised to Great North Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support (Cumbria and Lancashire). Thanks to Bruce and Sue for meeting us at Oakfield Park, Russell Armer’s new development in Kirkby Lonsdale, to receive their cheques.
