Our Meadow Rigg development in Kendal will add to our portfolio of homes across South Cumbria, and is the largest single development carried out in our 60 plus year history with a total of 157 one to four bedroom houses and apartments to be built.
The development, just off Burneside Road, is well-located in the town close to Carus Green Golf Club and near local amenities such as South Lakeland Retail Park, Kendal Railway Station and primary and secondary schools.
Work is also progressing well at our Bowland Fold development in Halton, on the outskirts of Lancashire, where 65 two to four bedroom homes, as well as one bedroom apartments, will be constructed.
The Bowland Fold development is located just off Kirkby Lonsdale Road and offers a broad mix of high quality homes which will suit a wide range of residential requirements but predominantly families through the provision of three and four bedroom houses.
Forty per cent of the overall development area – a total of 1.67 hectares – will be designated as public open green space. These green areas will include a brand new children’s play area, and there will be significant tree planting and a biodiversity scheme implemented.
