Dozens of keen quizzers descended on Kendal Golf Club on Thursday 4 February to pit their wits against other eggheads, raising much-needed cash for two really worthwhile local charities along the way.

The Russell Armer Homes Charity Quiz Night clocked up its 15th annual outing in style, welcoming 26 teams to the event – mainly from the local area, but some hailing from the wider region and as far afield as Scotland! After a fiercely contested competition, the Lake District National Park Authority foursome came out on top and took the title on their very first outing.

The magnificent sum of £1215 was raise on the night which will be split between the Great North Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cumbria and Lancashire.

Thanks to all who came along, supported our worthy causes and made the evening such fun – despite some fiendishly challenging questions. See you all next year!
