Award Winning Levens Housing Scheme

Cumbrian award winning home-builder, Russell Armer Homes, is celebrating being named among the winners in the regional heat of the prestigious International Property Awards, sponsored by Gaggenau and in association with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The company, which has been building quality homes in Cumbria for more than fifty years, has definitely scooped either a highly commended accolade, or become a five-star winner for Cumbria in the category of Residential Development, Cumbria. The properties recognised by the award judges are those at Greengate Gardens in Levens – a development Russell Armer Homes completed in autumn 2013.

Russell Armer will not discover which level of award it has won until the results are announced at a glittering gala and presentation dinner dance at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London, on the evening of Friday, October 24.

If the homebuilder becomes a five-star winner, it will compete against the other five-star winners nationwide and could become a national winner. From there, it could represent the UK in the international awards, competing against winners from Asia Pacific, Africa, Arabia, Canada, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

The award represents a significant achievement for Russell Armer, as entrants are judged by a panel of over 70 highly respected experts, against a set criteria and include some of the highest-profile developers in the country. The judging panel is chaired by three active members of the House of Lords: Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Cowtown. Consequently, the winners’ logo for these awards is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the property sector.
