All Change at Wetheriggs United FC

Posted on October 5, 2010 | News

Players and supporters of Wetheriggs United FC are celebrating the opening of their all-new changing rooms.

After months of hard work and fundraising the Penrith club hit their goal of £54,000 to bring the old changing rooms up to FA standard.

We were delighted to give £800 from our Russell Armer Fund, managed by the Cumbria Community Foundation, to help build these much-needed new facilities at the Castletown community centre.

The changing rooms will be enjoyed by junior footballers as well as the players of Wetheriggs United FC on match day. The club also hopes to invite many more community groups to make the most of the club’s excellent new facilities. To find out more visit http://www.wetheriggsunited.co.uk/
